Water and Wastewater Infrastructure

Dennis Corporation understands the importance of a functioning water and wastewater system for water distribution, fire protection, and wastewater collection and treatment.  We realize that these assets are vital to communities to encourage commercial, residential, and industrial growth.  Dennis Corporation has provided engineering consulting services in the analysis and design of water collection systems and wastewater distribution systems. Our personnel have managed water and wastewater projects through all phases of design and implementation, ranging from small water main extensions serving commercial developments to wastewater collection systems with hundreds of manholes and several miles of mains serving entire incorporated towns.  Our personnel have also been involved with the design and management of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) infrastructure projects.  Dennis Corporation personnel have designed numerous wastewater lift stations and force mains, and have design experience with municipal and industrial wastewater treatment facilities.Dennis Corporation personnel have also conducted water and wastewater systems studies ranging from small rural systems to county-wide studies.  These studies include:
  • Utilization of GIS information in the mapping of existing systems
  • Conduct field surveys and assessments of the functionality of existing facilities
  • Project future flows using demographic information, residential growth trends, and potential industrial development
  • Provided alternatives, preliminary cost estimates, and preliminary schedules for the improvement of existing utility infrastructure.
  • Develop Master Plans and/or prioritized improvements to improve service and/or expand service areas
