Dennis Corporation personnel have completed various studies and systems analysis for municipal and other public stormwater collection, detention/retention, and storage and treatment systems.  These studies include rainfall and run-off studies utilizing state and federal regulations and standard methods of analysis.  In addition, our project personnel are also experienced with the design of municipal and other large scale storm drainage systems, including detention/retention facilities for large portions of incorporated areas.  Dennis Corporation has also provided engineering design services for stormwater conveyance and detention systems for residential subdivision developments, roadway improvements, industrial parks, industrial sites, and commercial developments.

The managers, engineers, and design technicians of Dennis Corporation are adept at multiple stormwater design software packages, and have the capability to employ these programs for almost any stormwater application.  Our personnel have designed underground conveyance systems, open ditch systems, detention ponds, retention ponds, and underground detention systems in both urban and rural settings.  Our Staff has established a daily working relationship with SCDHEC stormwater personnel and other regulatory agencies throughout South Carolina, including OCRM personnel and permitting staff for both the coastal area and critical zone.

Dennis Corporation personnel are proficient with the development of Best Management Practices (BMPs) for sediment and erosion control measures.  In addition, our personnel are qualified by SCDHEC for weekly inspections of construction sites for compliance with Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans and other BMPs, pursuant to the new NPDES General Permit released in November 2006.
