Dennis Corporation is staffed and equipped to provide ITS system designs as well as installation, inspection, operation, maintenance and repair services for ITS equipment. Dennis Corporation personnel have previously designed work zone traffic control for major roadway projects, designed ITS systems and performed ITS system inspection services. ITS staff have also managed multiple projects for the South Carolina Department of Transportation. The ITS Division employs ETA International Certified Fiber Optics Installers.

- Design traditional work zone traffic control in compliance with South Carolina Construction
- Manual, Sections 601, 602 & 603 and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices
- Design ITS system, including detection type and communication
- Determine types of information (queue presence, travel time, etc.) to disseminate to public and means for doing so (website, message signs, radio, text messages, etc.)
- Inspection of equipment installation
- Field testing of equipment to ensure operability
- Work zone ITS system will provide real-time public alerts via a specified medium about queue presence, travel time, and possible detour routes (if desired)
- Establish and maintain real-time website for communicating information to public
- Quick response to repair or replace malfunctioning equipment
